sunflower yellow
worn by a granny
hours by the electric fire
bowls and bowls of barley soup
fish suppers, ice cream & fruit
cleaned up and dried by the hot water heater
some months at biggart hospital in the institutional laundry with no dilution of the energy
overseas immigration in a suitcase, then storage
rediscovered - like a dusty treasure undervalued by foolish descendants who unwittingly make 3 wishes and regret their choices but are saved at the end of the day and become wiser for it
the sunflower sweater has been around but has not seen it all
it is real, and at the same time imaginary
