I met a man recently who had a titanium plate excised into his forehead due to blunt force trauma. The plate although saving his life, caused massive damage to the frontal lobe of his brain resulting in a life of unspeakable sexual appetites, substance abuse and sociopathic homicide. Perhaps he was a bad seed to begin with but when his head was turned into a bulletproof weapon, (decidedly not in the tradition of the academy), and his brain cut in half, it seems his fate was sealed. I didn't catch his name but it is unlikely he will ever live outside of a prison.
