i went to city hall today to see the mayor
i wanted to ask him why he was the only member of council to not accept provincial funding for an hiv screening project
his receptionist told me i could put my name down and he would see me in a month or so
"a month or so!", i said
he replied, "yes. he's really swamped.
would you like some gum?
some dubble bubble?"
i declined.
